20min West of Meadow Lake, next neighbor lives 5min down the road

 

Who?

 

Kelly and a few helpers always live on the ranch.

 

Animals?

 

70 cows, 70 calves, a dozen yearlings, 1 bison, 25 or more horses, 4 cats outside, 2 cats inside, 3 dogs, chickens, rabbit, and Wilbur

 

Beds?

 

House: 4 beds

 

bunkhouse: 3 beds (only in summer)

 

Clothing?

 

You need mainly ranch clothes and only a few city clothes.

 

Shopping?

 

You can get basics in Meadow Lake, but if you want something special you have to go to Saskatoon (3hour drive) or Lloydminster (2hour drive).

 

Temperature?

 

Winter (Nov to March): down to -45 degrees Celsius, Summer (June - Aug): between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, Spring and Fall is somewhere in between

 

Specials?
